Touched by Frost
Tears accumulated in my eyes at these touching words spoken by one whom I loved as a father. At that moment, I could think of nothing but my desire to ride out with him. It was my duty to stay with my people, but to win renown dying on the battlefields seemed better than bearing the pain of my broken heart. Besides, all the people dearest to me were riding out to meet the breaking of the storm, why not me too? Then perhaps, I could die knowing that I had helped in some small way during my bitter existence.
