The Time Has Come

The hour has come: to rise up, embrace my destiny or to sink down into the unforgivable depths of insignificance and remain but a shadow of Elendil’s kin.

To part from her is sorrowful, but this time I must return with the fate we had long been anticipating. Her glance mingling with expectation, hope and love pierces me keenly as I look upon her one last time.

My resolve is set. Responsible for the Ring-bearer’s fate and for the certainty that Middle-earth be crowned with a king, I will emerge victorious over Sauron and ultimately earn the love of Arwen Undomiel.
