Eowyn felt anxious when Elboron was born; she was not ready to be a mother, and she felt that she would not be a good mother for she lacked a role model that showed her how to be one.

However, Elboron was an easy baby and showed that motherhood was naturally in her. She felt her heart melt whenever she looked at him; it seemed that time could stand still with him being in her world.

Whenever Faramir looked at their son, his eyes lit up in pride, and she could not help but feel pure joy. 

This was love.
