Aha! I loved the shift to Frodo's POV, and the mention of Beregond did the trick--this is after "All's Well" isn't it? How sneaky! (in a good way)
I love that Frodo saw immediately that he needed to go down to fetch Merry because none of the other hobbits seemed to be thinking straight, and were too fat and couldn't swim, to boot. Yes, I can see how a party would break out when all ended well (no pun intended.) |
