This made me cry again, even re-reading it. I can't imagine this level of guilt. Author Reply: He has had too much to process and come to terms with in so little time. And being an ellon with a conscience has not helped him in this. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Alas, more guilt added to the burden he already bears, even if he does not consciously remember the details. Author Reply: This elf is steeped in guilt. It is tough to be a military leader and king when one is as compassionate as he is. Perhaps he will eventually work his way through this. Thank you for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much!

Faroniel was right to shoot an arrow at him. He had been thoughtless in his leaving as he did. At least she forgave him and accepted him back. Now he really believes he is alone and that has to be so frightening for him. Hopefully Faroniel will ease is loneliness a little and he will find some meaning in his life now even with everything he's lost, especially since he can't really remember what it was he's lost. Author Reply: Arafinwe just had to get some answers and didn't like what he found out. He has to be terrified as he gropes his way through life right now. It is a good thing that Faroniel is forgiving and patient with him. Let's hope she can continue to be so and doesn't try to put another arrow in him. He isn't making very good choices lately, is he? Thank you so very much for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much!

Not the meeting he'd envisioned, if he even had a meeting in his imagination thought out. But he's wrong to despair before he knows all of the facts. Author Reply: No, it was not the meeting he was expecting, poor guy. I think he does not fully understand just how, for lack of a better word, "damaged" he is from all that he has endured physically and emotionally as well. At least he is in an environemnt where he can get some support so maybe he can try to sort himself out. Thank you so very much for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much!
