| I rejoice that things are going so well for this growing family. I'm glad Sam could make it for the ceremony adopting Bandy and Ruby, and that at Diamond and Pippin's marriage remains good. | What a wonderful chapter! It was fun to see all Pippin's preparations for the adoption. So he can swear in five languages, eh? Well, let's see: his native tongue is Westron; he probably learned a few things from Legolas in Sindarin, and maybe even a few words of Quenya in Rivendell (that's three); a bit of Khuzdul from Gimli (four); and I'd guess that Merry picked up some prime oaths in Rohirric, which were duly passed on to his cousin (yep--five )! Now he and Diamond officially have four kids! Author Reply: Glad you liked this chapter. I thought I was never going to get it finished. Real Life has just been so busy. I'm hoping the next few chapter come a little easier. Actually, I had forgot about Quenya. I had figured he'd picked up a word or two from the orcs. He'd only pull those out when he's so beyond reason that civilized words could not cover it. Yes, they finally have four kids, and the fun isn't done yet. :) | |
