| Ooh, what a treasure! Frodo would have loved to assist in the making of this book. And I am quite sure that somehow he will know what is happening right now at Aragorn's home. Author Reply: Yes, indeed, this would be a treasure to the King's family. As for him knowing what was happening--well, between the White Trees and the Mallorn and perhaps stories shared by Maiar visitors and blessed dream I'm sure Frodo had at least some idea as to at least some things happening among his friends. | |

| Ooh, oh, oh! One observes only one oath-keeper on Orodruin. Actually I am wrong because Sam also kept his own promise. This one piece of paper makes the whole book doubly precious to the whole royal family. Author Reply: Yes, I am certain that this is true. Thank you! | It's wonderful that Aragorn is sharing this reading with his children. They'll never forget it. And they'll feel so much closer to those who had a hand in creating it, like Frodo and Sam. | O is for Open! I was thinking O might be for Oliphaunt, but I think an Oliphaunt might have trouble with these doors and that's for certain! Say "Mellon" and enter :D how perfectly brilliant of the Elves and Dwarves to do that, don't you think? No Oliphaunt is pushing past those doors. Oliphaunts can't read :P Author Reply: Nor can the poor Oliphaunts speak, so they are unable of saying, "Mellon!" and thus identifying themselves as friends. Poor things--they'll have to look forward to perhaps one day being adopted by Samwise. Heh! | |
