Phantasm  by lovethosehobbits 2 Review(s)

Would you believe I started this this morning and only just finished it. RL can be a bugger at times.

Nicely done, tree. I was a bit skeptical that he would have been alive after falling far enough that it took hours to reach him, but he's being aided/hindered by magic - so I guess I will buy it. I am still wondering how the heck our poor boy is going to manage on Caradhras, with a broken arm, concussion and pnuemonia! Good grief - can things GET any worse? LOL!

Awaiting your next chapter eagerly.

Author Reply: Ah but there is a twist coming. Frodo could never have survived the fall if it had just been he and the mountain. But he had a little help...muhahaha, you'll see in the next chapter. I *have* to make the chapters shorter. One, it takes weeks for me to update and two, alot of readers I think, like shorter chapters so that they can go on to read fics by other authors. More torture to come, thanks so very much for reviewing and reading. tree

Wow, what a rescue! I love all the details you've thought up, and especially that Sam's practical nature is appreciated by the Big Folk at last. And this just warmed my heart:

'I still wants my Mr. Frodo wrapped up tight and cozy like, no matter what'

Lovely. Wonderful story, tree!

Author Reply: So glad you're enjoying it. I'm having alot of fun writing it as well. I was afraid I had too much detail in this chapter and that everyone would get bored and move on, so it's nice to hear otherwise. I'll be sending you a post of how things are panning out for California soon. take care, tree
