The 12Days Challenge  by Grey Wonderer 8 Review(s)

Poor Frodo! That was a rather mean trick to paly on an unsuspecting cousin! I liked the way you described each of the lasses and how they have formed this little group. At least they have plenty of company through each other and any other unsuspecting lad they might catch! What fun!

Author Reply: I almost want to write a story using these old ladies again, but I have no idea what sort of a story it would be. Frodo got the worst of this one, but I am sure that he found a way to get even later on.

Poor Frodo... He got snared by Pippin and Merry just to avoid those irritating old ladies....Frodo willsurley kill them if he ever gets his hands on them....

Author Reply: Yes, they may be in for a bit of trouble once Frodo excapes the old ladies. LOL

LOL...those little sneaks! Sucks to be Frodo right about now! I have to do one more before I log off–these are great! I was working a lot of O.T. the past couple weeks...now I’m catching up on my reading. I’ll definitely be back!

Author Reply: Don't work too hard and come back when you can. Drop me an email sometime just so I know you're still around. Thanks for the reviews and for reading, oh, and I am glad to know you're still around.

That was evil!!

Author Reply: Yes, and now Frodo owes them in a very big way. But I am very sure that the old lasses would be unable to resist questioning Frodo if given the chance. He was the perfect decoy, just far too interesting to be ignored.

How cruel - sacrificing their kindly cousin Frodo to the demands of their bellies. I shouldn't be surprised to find him getting his own back at some point. (They just shouldn't all be so cute. Then the aunties would leave them alone!)

Author Reply: I have a few relatives that I used to try to avoid at family gatherings as a child and since hobbits have such large, extended families, I suspected that they might have at least one or two relatives like that. (Bilbo and the Sackville Baggins's came to mind.) So, I figured that they might sacrifice almost anyone to avoid spending time with certain relatives and naturally, no one should get between a hobbit and his dinner! Frodo was too trusting and also of too much interest to the old birds. LOL

*snickers* I would love to see how Frodo gets back at them, lol! Purely evil of them to do that to him. But they'll do anything for food won't they.

Author Reply: Yes, those two would do almost anything for food. Glad this gave you a laugh and at some point I just might have to write Frodo's revenge for this one. So many of these little stories gave me little plot bunnies but I have no clue how many of those bunnies will become stories.

Author Reply: LOL If only Gollum had been there. Now, he would have been a very big distraction and then Frodo could have eaten with the others. LOL Thanks

Lol! You managed to come up with an impressive number of bird references. Hm, if I was Frodo, I'd be plotting out my revenge, even while sitting with the Old Lasses. Merry and Pippin deserve some severe retribution for that little trick. :)

Author Reply: Oh, I am very sure that Frodo will find a way to get even at some point. As to all of the bird references, well, they practically flew onto the page! LOL Thanks for the review!
