Author Reply: I want Frodo to feel loved~but indeed it's curious to think why Tolkien would have him a bachelor given that he's lost his family for so long of a time... Friends could do so much but i think a family for Frodo would've been quite interesting ... Perhaps TOlkien didn't want him to have any "strings attached" when he goes on his Quest so therefore left him single ... still i love a peaceful Frodo too--he really deserves it. :) |
