| Lovely imagery, and the idea that the merlin is a "hobbit hawk." Fastred is slowly coming to realize there is more to his companions than he'd first thought. And love Sam's reference to weeding. Very apt for our favorite gardener. Author Reply: It was so much fun, researching merlins and moorlands for this story. | I'd comment, but all I can say is the formatting is bad. It is all bold and in one paragraph. Other then that, I'm glad that Fastred finally met Elenor!
