Hahaha! Oh my! That was one of the most hilarious things I have read in some time. LOL! :D If they hadn't come out of there as quick as they did dire consequences could have been the result.

Hilarious. Although Peregrin might have just changed into a small falcon instead of a girl. But do go to FFN and check out Lindelea's wonderful tale of the Hobbits eating muddlewort in which they begin spouting bits of ad jingles and singing "A Hundred Bottles of Beer on the Wall" and so on. Can't remember the title.

Author Reply: Hee, you mean 'Slightly Muddled'. Can't say it wasn't on my mind as I was writing this, but my little scrap of story happily eats her story's metaphorical dust-it is just so good. *Koff Koff* :o)

*ROTFLMBO!*howls*wipes eyes*

This is just too true to not be hilarious! Speaking as one who is constantly waging war on her spellchecker, which will constantly take the extra "l" out of Travellers or the extra "g" out of waggon, not to mention turning "hobbits" into "habits" or "tourneying" into "journeying", I most certainly appreciate the dire peril the lads were in until they could escape!

Author Reply: Thank you so much! Your ROTFLMBO is music to my ears:o) My Spellcheck has issues with all those words, too, the darn thing, and boy howdy, what it does to certain Elves, like Tranquil and his son, Legless, is brutal. I just about wear out my finger with hitting 'ignore', that's for sure.

*snork*

“Scratch his eyes out later! Let’s make a run for it now, quick!”
I love your sense of timing.

Ah, yes, that ever-helpful spellchecker, that chokes on "Ernil i Pheriannath" among other things.

(BTW, in the same paragraph, I think you have "would have went" when you meant "would have gone")

Author Reply:
Ah, yes. Well, can't blame that one on Spellcheck, I reckon. *Kicks dirt over it* *Whistles*
And it chokes on Aragorn, and Minas Tirith, and Gamgee, and Merry and, and...pretty much any other Tolkien-related word I happen to want to use. *Pinches Microsoft*
