I have been anxiously awaiting the next chapter, and I was not disappointed in the least! I enjoy the fact that she is still haunted by what happened. I know I would be if I was in her position.

Poor Eomer. His temper gets out of control, and now his horomones do. Tsk tsk.

Keep it coming! I cannot wait for the next one!

Author Reply: Thank you for your praise. Yes, poor Eomer. I'm afraid it's going to get worse for him before it gets better. He really has to watch those hormones.

Eomer, Eomer, Eomer! what did U do! ... Ohh! I love this chapter!
It make me smile when Lothiriel goes to the stables... and later Eomer... mmmmmm!
And the end of the chapter... God! So dramatic! so romantic!
Can't wait a week for more! but I have to... =P
But U have been true to your word and wrote more! That's very important for us...
(again sorry for the verbs and everything... =S... I'm learning!)

Thanks!

Author Reply: Hola Macphisto's girl,
Yes, I'm afraid Eomer got carried away a bit in this chapter and will have to pay the price, I'm afraid. I've been busy over Christmas and had lots of ideas, but then you will see. Next chapter should be up this weekend or at the beginning of next week.

OMG, I absolutely *love* this story! I have always liked to see women portrayed as strong and independant, and I doubt that Eomer would have married someone who couldn't stand her own against him. My favourite parts are their initial meeting and the archery tournament. I find your characterizations to be very effective and believable, and I like the little ominous notes you add every now and then, though it is quite EBIL of you to string your readers along so!

Wonderful, brilliant story, please keep on writing and update soon *poketh*!

Author Reply: Hello Etharei,
you have found me out - I enjoy tormenting my readers with ominous hints and cliffhangers! It's one of the few joys of being an author!
I'm pleased you like my story and thanks for telling me which bits you like, that's always interesting to know for me.

A lovely and realistic chapter. Of course she is going to be in distress and confusion, and I liked Eomer's frank admissions to her. Most of all I liked this part:

“You didn’t though, did you?” Éomer replied. “Do you know who is the bravest person I’ve ever met?” he asked her.

“Your sister?”

Éomer shook his head. “No, the halfling Frodo. He wasn’t a trained warrior, yet he went into Mordor with little hope of succeeding and even less hope of ever returning, because it was the right thing to do. People are already forgetting that the ring war wasn’t won by force of arms.”

But those directly involved will never forget the debt they owe to the hobbits. Eomer will always remember: not only Frodo and Sam, whose deed was accomplished at just the right time to save the forces of the West at Morannon, but Merry--who saved his sister's life, and Pippin, who saved his brother-in-law's life.

The kiss and its aftermath was also understandable. Of course Eomer stopped in time--he is an honorable man. But it has thrown both of them into confusion.

And that last line sounds very ominous.

Author Reply: I always liked the Hobbits' role in the books. In my eyes, it's one of the main things that distinguishes Tolkien's tale from most other Fantasy fiction.

And that last line is meant to sound ominous!

I am sort of wishing he would have just broken down the door too! I hope that last line does not mean their romance is set too far back. I am glad he has found out that he has underestimated her again, though. She is no helpless female.

Author Reply: Hi Nilmandra, I warned you, didn't I. The main problem these two have is siblings sticking their noses in at the wrong time. You'll see...

So promising. Right until the last minute!

It would have spared Éomer a lot of trouble, though.

Oh dear. I hope Lothiriel doesn't do anything silly.

I was so pleased to see this restarted - I look forward to more.

Author Reply: Hello Bodkin,
as you see I've been thinking on those twists of fate you mentioned! I think there might well be a bit more of them before the unravelling begins...

Oh, what a place to leave it! Am loving this and now I've got to wait all over again!

Author Reply: Hello harrowcat, glad you like it. The next chapter should be out next weekend I hope.
