Winds of Change  by Lady Bluejay 2 Review(s)
BodkinReviewed Chapter: 4 on 4/6/2006
There's something about this chapter that is just delightful. And it's not due to Eomer's state of undress! It's simply charming.

I love the way the King of Rohan feels the need to safeguard his virtue. And Elfhelm's need to introduce Eomer to some of the odder elements of bathing traditions in Gondor. And Elfhelm's assessment of Faramir is spot on.

I think he's onto a loser with choosing a blonde bride, though.

Author Reply: Hi Bodkin,

I thought he was a bit mean - barricading the door and leaving a dissapointed housemaid!

I think you may be right about the bride. Thanks for reading and reviewing. LBJ

So--he's not yet cottoned to the fact that by the time a sponge finds its way into a bathroom it's already well dead? Poor Eomer! And he is already being set up, it appears. That IS Lothiriel out there, isn't it, rather than Amrothos's intended? I certainly hope so!

Love the description of the bathroom and its facilities.

Author Reply: Hi Larner,

Poor Eomer is going to be confused about more than the sponge! Thanks for the review. LBJ
