Tales of Life  by Aelaer 7 Review(s)

Yes, I'm certain he would indeed hear giggling behind them. Daughters will get their way with the men in their lives, after all.

Utterly charming! Particularly Aragorn's dragging Imrahil into the "Quest", and the laughter of the guard, and Aragorn's being his little daughter's obedient slave! (which can happen with fathers and little girls)

Author Reply: Thank you very much! Little girls can be quite commanding at times, and can even make kings obey them ;)

I read this at another site. It gets better the second time around, the third, the fourth....... Very cute and refreshing!

Author Reply: I guess you read it at fanfiction.net; I posted it there first. Thank you very much ^^

Oh, good. I was hoping you'd post here. The other site is giving me fits. I really liked Aragorn getting one over on Prince Imrahil here.

Author Reply: FF.net can be a pain, can't it? But nevertheless, I still post there... some odd addiction to the site, I guess. But thanks for the review here as well ^^

Great little story. I'm laughing along with that guard. Aragorn does come to fatherhood rather late in life, doesn't he? I'm glad you are posting these stories--looking forward to more!

Author Reply: Yea, he does! I'm thinking around mid-90s... dang, most people are dead by then. Lucky Numenorean... *grumbles* Anyways, thank you! I have many more planned ^^

He could not stand her gaze; it was just as beautiful as her mother’s and just as commanding as her father’s. She got the best out of both of them.

Poor Imrahil! No one will stand a chance against such a formidable weapon as that girl's gaze. What fun! I wish them well on their quest.

:D

Author Reply: Scary enough, many children seem to have this gaze... I used such a gaze on my parents when I was younger XD Being the child of Aragorn and Arwen makes it 100 times worse ;)

Ahh. How sweet. I'm not surprised Eleniel managed to harness Aragorn and Imrahil to help her find her d.... Elwen.

(And I'm not surprised the guard laughed. Though perhaps he should have waited until two of the three most powerful lords of Gondor were out of hearing.)

Author Reply: Small children tend to have powerful influence over adults, even great men such as Aragorn and Imrahil. It's kind of creepy, actually... I remember using that trick myself as a child XD

Hmm, perhaps he wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree xD
