Tales of Life  by Aelaer 5 Review(s)

Lairė, this was a very tender vignette. I'm glad that after the heart-breaking period Aragorn must have spent alone in the wild after his mother's death, you made him enjoy the comfort, affection and love of his foster family in Imladris. Well done.

I'm glad Aragorn received a warm welcome.

Oh, I can see him forgetting his own birthday from time to time, out in the wild and losing track of which day is which.

Lovely wakening there! Poor Elrohir, almost getting throttled for his impatience! Wonderful to know the Man is still loved here, of all places within Middle Earth.

This is such a wonderful look at the love between Aragorn and his brothers and how he is still in their hearts even when away from home. I'm reminded of the line in 'The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen' when it describes how Arwen watched over him while he was in the Wild.

A beautiful tale.

he could not help but be touched that his foster family still remembered his birthday

That's very heartwarming. :)
