Agape's Attempts  by Agape4Gondor 2 Review(s)

This is very deep. The need we sometimes feel to have a physical pain to match our emotional one. MEWD!!

Author Reply: I don't think that Arwen would hurt herself... though she might be tempted to wring a few necks (most notably Elrond's) - but I do think there was physical pain for her - the pain in a heart torn from those she loved, both those gone West and those seeking revenge.

Thanks for responding!

Yes, frustration from the daughter of Elven Kings and great warriors among both the First and Second born! Alas! But she will find a soul-friend in Eowyn, I suspect!

Author Reply: I do so hope, Larner, that Arwen and Eoweyn became fast friends. Both knew the bitterness of sitting behind whilst the 'men' went off to deeds of glory. Though PJ put Arwen into the 'battle' - I don't believe, from what I read of LOTR and the Appendices, that Arwen did go out to battle. She was one of the heroes who sat at home and kept the fires burning, while preparing for all the warriors' needs.

Thanks again for responding.
