Tide of Destiny - Part One: Choices  by Lady Bluejay 3 Review(s)
BodkinReviewed Chapter: 10 on 3/30/2008
Lothiriel is very lucky - Umar must be spitting nails, but I doubt he'll be giving up any time soon. Poor horse. Not to mention the men-at-arms, of course, but they don't really have the furry factor. I hope Sergon survives to fight the slimeball off again another day.

While Eomer should avoid - er - physical intimacy with Bergit. It does rather detract from his moral stand of true friendship and loyalty.

Author Reply: I had to think hard about killing off the horse!

And as for Eomer - we can't have him too perfect - that would be boring!LBJ

A very exciting bit of action over the last two chapters! Loved the confrontation with Umar in the previous chapter and Lothiriel's determination to fight in this one. And the scene with the ribbons was a funny bit of needed relief.

Author Reply: Hi Lia,

Trouble is, the action takes me longer to write. And then my beta tells me it won't work, and I have to start again. *grins*.

I feel so sorry for Lothiriel, she loved her horse even if it came from that creep Umar! I only wish she could have at least nicked him, but at least she got away. Eomers humor about the ribbons was funny, Eothain must be blind! LOL! Good chapter will wait for the next impatiently(but hey that's just me) Deb

Author Reply: Blind or in love! Poor chap - it might not go well for him. And the loss of the horse is very sad for Lothiriel.
