Good--one party headed south while the other heads north--and in between they shall meet, allowing Faramir to return home--until the time for becoming esquire has come.

Author Reply: *grins sardonically*

Will they meet???

And so two parties set out, one from the north and one from the south. It will be interesting to see who finds who first and how many birdcalls Faramir actually learns in the meantime. *grin*

Author Reply: *giggles*

I'm wondering if birdcalls will be the only thing Faramir learns.......

It's a pleasure to see Faramir having such a good time with his new friends. I like the interplay between the Peredhil and the boy and "Strider". It's also an effective counterpoint to the agonies Listowel is suffering due to Faramir's loss. She, and others, are going to be so thrilled to get him back alive and well! (at least I'm assuming alive and well)

Author Reply: Thanks, Raksha. It's nice to find Faramir with friends... Listowel had to finally 'do' something herself. She really could see she was not gaining the respect of her men - and that was the other reason that Indis sent her to Osgiliath. Both still have much to learn.

Grateful for the review!

Awwww. What a sweet chapter, full of warmth and friendship. And, two of my favorite Elves are still in it. Faramir couldn’t be in better hands.

I can just see Aragorn gritting his teeth in frustration. Having to be carries on a litter would be a bit degrading for him. Glad he listened to his older brothers.

Author Reply: As wise as Aragorn is he still would not relish the idea of being transported all over Ithilien...

And thanks for the sweet words!
