Wisdom indeed he shows, and a keen appreciation for the newly met captain as well as the locals. Now--to get in there and subdue the place in a hurry!

Author Reply: That captain has a knack of inspiring appreciation, as we well know. LBJ

Nasty cliffhanger - in more ways than one! :) I'm glad Imrahil and Thorongil were able to talk out their differences. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author Reply: LoL. I never thought of it as a real 'cliffhanger' until a couple of people mentioned it.LBJ

Hi LBJ -

I like how you've left us with a true cliff hanger--Imrahil and his cohorts practically hanging off a cliff. You move the story along well with physical challenges for Imrahil and his men and engaging descriptions of ship board life. The character moments between Imrahil and Thorongil were well drawn, though I wonder if Imrahil is 100 percent on Thorongil's side as of yet? I'm sure we'll find out soon.

Author Reply: Thanks.

We have to leave room for a little doubt. Imrahil will need to be convinced. LBJ

I really like the detailed sense you give of understanding sailing and tactics, not to mention the relationship of men fighting along side one another.

Author Reply: I do know a lot about sailing - but not much about tactics, so I am glad it sounded OK. I can only say it's an enjoyable challenge to write, LBJ
