| And she still fails to make the connection. She does have some things to learn yet. At least he now knows she is resourceful as well a pretty and spirited. And she knows he is inventive. Heh! Author Reply: It would have been no fun if she'd made the connection already ;-) Also if you've got an idea fixed in your mind as the 'truth', it's difficult to see the signs. | I like the birds. :D Kingfishers are lovely. Morooned on an island by the incoming tide? Funny, I've just written that in my original story. Author Reply: Yes, I like kingfishers too! As for being marooned on an island by the tide, I was thinking of 'Black Eyes' at the time. Although being marooned with Amrothos is probably not as much fun as being marooned with Eomer! | |

| Well Eomer has made certain no one else would want to marry her as in those days she would be considered "ruined" after a night however innocent with a man. I expect her cooking skills are making him think she's make a good wife after all. I like the way Eomer tells the truth without revealing who he is! Author Reply: Hi Linda, well, Lothiriel still thinks she can get away with it by having Léona disappear before they reach the Harlond - however, her brilliant plans have misfired before ;-) And as I see it, they might not necessarily have the same rigid morals in Middle Earth as in medieval times in Europe, so while it would certainly be scandalous for her to travel down the river 'on her own', when all is said and done she's still the Princess of Dol Amroth. So maybe after lying low for a bit she might still make an advantageous marriage. Not that she cares when she's in a temper! And if all else fails she can hire on as a cook ;-) Lia | |

| Oh, a picnic!!! this two will be so much in love when they finish their adventure, that they will marry right away. I can't wait for see Lothiriel reaction when she finds out who Leona really is.
