'Til Death Do Us Part  by Haleth 6 Review(s)
lilyoftheval5Reviewed Chapter: 11 on 6/29/2010
I'm very very happy I'll get to see how the jouney of Haleth and Inglor ends.
Even if you did said long time ago it will end sadly.

And I must say that this is one of the most surreal and frustrating stories that ever ensnared me.
I can't figure out Inglor and I'm never sure what's happening....
But I am glad you're still updating.

Author Reply: Lily of the valley! I haven't heard from you in years. I hope everything's going well for you. "Even if you did said long time ago it will end sadly." You remember that? You're memory is amazing. Thank-you for reviewing.

That Haleth put Inglor's safety above her own says a lot about her. Does Inglor even understand? Probably not.

This has turned into a cliffhanger and I will now have to try to be patient until the next chapter is posted.

Author Reply: Thank-you for reviewing, Tari. Haleth isn't thinking. She's just reacting. Inglor understands she's about to do something dangerous that will likely end in disaster. Inglor also understands that arguing with Haleth can be a non-starter. He's going to have to think of something really fast.

If I know Inglor he wil not leave her.

Author Reply: Thank-you for reviewing, Elflingimp. You're right. He probably wouldn't leave her if he had any choice in the matter. There currently doesn't seem much of a choice, though.

'Good-bye, Inglor,’ she said with a sad smile. It was a terrible way to bid farewell to her best friend, but circumstances would not allow for anything better.

‘And how shall you escape the Corsairs?’ he asked.

‘I’ll run. There are plenty of places to hide. I know the city far better than them. I’ll be fine.’

Oh my poor poor Haleth; always finding different ways to leave Inglor so that he is free to leave for Valinor. What an inferiority complex though I can't really blame her, that elf is glorious.

Curious to see where you take this story forward. Will it be as long as 'Pitfalls of the Palantir'? I hope so. Also,it seems as though this one will be the last? I hope not!

There is so much restraint and suppressed emotion and sadness in this story that it makes me want to cuff both of them on the head.

The title seems so ominous! Poor Haleth and even more so: poor Inglor!
Will they at least confess or will they suppress their feelings forever; manifested only in Inglor's eternal sadness (in Valinor) ?

I guess H and I would just love to maintain their UST till the very end :D

Waiting to read more!

Author Reply: Thank-you for reviewing, shadowfax. Haleth knows she can't go with Inglor to Valinor. In her mind, there's not more to be said about it. Who can say what's going on in Inglor's mind? I don't think Haleth would ever tell Inglor of her true feelings for him. It would be too mortifying for her, especially if he told her he loved her as a friend.

That sounds like a really, really bad plan. Surely Inglor won't agree?

Author Reply: Thank-you for reviewing, Jay. It's a really dangerous plan, but they don't have time to come up with anything else. At least that's what Haleth thinks. :)

I hope the Royal Navy of Gondor and Arnor is in hot pursuit of that black ship!

Author Reply: Thank-you for reviewing, eiluj. Haleth probably hopes they are, too, but with her luck they'd get there after the Corsairs had caught them. Or they'd arrest her as a suspected Corsair in the confusion.
