'Til Death Do Us Part  by Haleth 7 Review(s)

Oh I just loved this chapter!! I was waiting for the time when Inglor would lose his cool. Guess he was so tranquil and sure about Haleth in Middle Earth, it just needed another Elf to make him lose it.

It would be great if we would get more peeps into his head for a while now!

And Haleth is right to be angry at him too. He really shouldn't have made decisions regarding her life and death, on his own.

Author Reply: Thank-you, Shadowfax. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. Inglor occassionally loses his temper. The episodes are just few and far between.

I find it very difficult to write from his point of view. It's difficult to know how a really old being would think.

It seems someone is experiencing a bit of jealousy. Maybe this will inspire him to finally make his move. (fingers crossed)

Author Reply: Thank-you for reviewing, Tari. Yes, Inglor is jealous. As far as making a move goes, elves move very slowly in comparison to mortals. They literally have all the time in the world. It must be a shock to discover there might not be as much time as they think.

Oh man! ...er elf....Poor Inglor!

Author Reply: Poor Inglor. All of those years with Haleth flying into jealous rages...which he never seemed to understand.

Forgot I hadn't read this chapter yet. Been rather busy. So, Ecthelion of the Fountain and is that Inglor looking jealous? What does he expect considering the way he's treated Haleth all these years? He's never once treated her as anything but an interesting specimen instead of a real person. At least that's the impression I always got as I've been reading these chronicles. It will be ineresting to see how this all works out. I'm with Haleth, though. I would rather be dead than living in that place. It's way too perfect for me and I like Elves. *LOL!*

Author Reply: Thank-you, Fiondil. Ecthelion is a hero. He's part of Haleth's family history. Inglor seldom had any competition for Haleth's attention in Middle-earth. It may not have occurred to him that she could be interested in anyone else. Although I wouldn't assign that motivation to him. Inglor believes he's been very forthcoming with Haleth. She just doesn't know his culture and has completely missed his signals.

Aman, as I depict it, is too perfect. There are cracks there. They just aren't as obvious as wars or poverty.

Now I'm going to have to go and think about this.

Oh I love this chapter! Inglor really should have a clue by now, and yet he doesn't. I wait with bated breath for the next chapter - and the explosion!

Author Reply: Poor Inglor. He and Haleth just can't seem to get it together. Haleth certainly knows how to make him angry, though.

Thank-you for reviewing, Freyalyn.

Aha! I hadn't been sure how 'around' Inglor was. I look forward to Haleth's trip to the sea with Ecthelion - but oh, poor Inglor... perhaps he should have got in first. :~)

Author Reply: Inglor couldn't have anticipated Ecthelion's invitation to Haleth. To be fair, it was Haleth's way of presenting the news that bothered Inglor.

Thank-you for reviewing.

Oh my! I found Inglor hilarious.....finally he loses his cool..I mean I couldn't stop laughing! Haleth never, never ceases to amaze me. Even in the Blessed Realm she seems to tick Inglor off..looks like the tables are turning. Hugs The Imp

Author Reply: Poor Inglor. It must have been quite the shock to hear Haleth burbling over Ecthelion.

Haleth just isn't adjusting to life in Tirion.

Thanks for reviewing.
