In Darkness Bound  by Fiondil 4 Review(s)

Well, there is no question as to where Ingoldo's sympathies lie. What he hopes to accomplish there is the question, of course.

Author Reply: Most likely you are correct, Larner. Ingwë is not very happy with his brother right now and we will see soon enough what steps he takes against Ingoldo. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate you taking the time to do so.

Ingoldo and Tinwetariel’s absence from the feast was an insult as far as I’m concerned. They just keep pushing buttons to see how far they can go. That is about to come to an end, I’m sure.

It’s no surprise that Ingoldo was not at the lodge. That troublemaker is undoubtedly on his way to Formenos, hoping to stir up more trouble.

Author Reply: Hi Tari. We will see how Ingwë handles his brother and his sister-in-law with regards to their snubbing their son and all soon enough. As to where Ingoldo has gone, that remains to be seen. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

Ingoldo, Ingoldo, Ingoldo, (Shakes head.) Now, you've been and gorn and done it!
Visiting Formanos was not perhaps the brightest thing you could have done, Ingwe will not be amused!
Huggs,
Lynda

Author Reply: Hi, Lynda. That assumes that Ingwë will actually find Ingoldo in Formenos (or evidence that he's been there). We will find out in the next chapter, which will actually show up the Valar as not being as smart as they think they are and it will be Ingwë who points this out. *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I greatly appreciate it.

Oh goody...on to Formenos. With only a single guard? Pretty lousy for the High King. But I can't wait for him to arrive at Formenos, and what of the family he has casually left behind him. They will be worried when he doesn't arrive back home at a reasonable time. He is worse than a smalll child who is supposed to phone home when he is delayed, but forgets. His family will NOT be happy with him. In fact, they may be frantic (a bit). Great chapter, and wonderful to see Ingwe back home again.

Author Reply: Well, Erulisse, at this time in Aman's history there was no need for more than one guard for propriety's sake. That probably changed after the Darkening. Ingwë obviously considers himself to be safe with just one attendant. And I'm sure that through their marriage bond Elindis is aware of what her husband is up to. *grin* Glad you liked the chapter. We will be seeing Ingwë in definite High King mode in the next few chapters. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate it.
