Wow. If even a day's worth of hobbit chatter can't distract it, they're in real trouble... ;-)

So yeah, this is bad. Looking forward to seeing where it goes!

Author Reply: Thank you so much for reading!

Yikes! You seem to have a talent for creepy, malevolent presences... not something I would have expected from you!

Poor Gandalf. What a horrid place to be in!

Author Reply: The greater the evil, the greater the force of friendship must be to rally to overcome it!

OK, wow! That took my breath as well. I was not expecting it at all because everything had gone so calmly along until that moment. Brilliant surprise. I do love this story.

Author Reply: Thank you! :)

Oh, my dear, you are getting quite angsty here! :) This is getting scarier all the time. Love Frodo's words at the end.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: It isn't easy for me to delve into the angsty stuff! It helps to know that once it's over, there will be comfort and healing galore. :)

Now, that was quite the experience of the Wraith's malevolence. I shudder to think on what Gandalf must be considering. Poor Frodo--but he knows the power of evil now from first-hand experience.

Author Reply: He does, indeed. And Gandalf's plan is about to be revealed...

Oh my, that was terrifying!! Poor Aragorn, poor Gandalf, poor Frodo!! Lovely juxtaposition of the lighter hobbity moments with the darkness of evil. Thankfully I'm sure light will emerge triumphant by the end of the tale! Thank you!

Author Reply: Thanks for reading! I started writing chapter 7 this morning, and hope to continue tomorrow. We need to start getting that hopeful and comforting light shining. :)

>“It is odd... I feel as if I have not tasted food in a thousand years, and am only now savoring each flavor.”

That sent shivers up and down my spine, and when Gandalf looked into Aragorn's mind, that's even MORE chilling. Oohhh, how on earth are they going to help Aragorn when the darkness has so much control over Aragorn??

Author Reply: How indeed? Hopefully Gandalf has a plan that will work. Thanks for reading, my friend!

Eek! I haven't a clue how they're going to solve this! The eating like he hadn't for 1000 years was a nice chilling touch before things got rough.

Author Reply: Thank you. Hopefully Gandalf can somehow get this dire predicament resolved.

MirachReviewed Chapter: 6 on 12/29/2011
Oh, that's so suspenseful! I really hope Gandalf knows what he is doing!

Author Reply: So does he! This will be a test for him, and no mistake.

Oh my! That was a demonstration of complete power! And very dangerous.

Now what is Gandalf's plan and how is Frodo involved?

I'm really curious to read more :-)

Author Reply: I'm looking forward to *writing* more. I need to consult with Gandalf about this plan of his... :-)
