A Long-Expected Wedding  by Fiondil 7 Review(s)

Maybe Arafinwë and Eärwen should give lessons on how to deal with Reborn. Some Once-Born really could use them, I suspect, as they have no idea what they can expect and how to handle the problems.

Glad Eärwen talked with Finrod about some aspects of the wedding. It will smooth things over a bit, I think. And now Sador is coming, yay! Of course, I would be interested to hear about some of what he did on Tol Eressëa as well.

Sador dreamed about that incident with the fishes? Now that is unexpected. And the fish telling him to go to Tirion even more.
Though I was snickering about the red painted shed. Painting other people's places seems to be a favoured pastime for the Reborn.

Nice ending to the chapter :D

Author Reply: I'm sure Arafinwë and Eärwen have written a book to that effect, or if they haven't, they should. It would certainly come in handy, right up there with their son's book on creative punishments for recalcitrant elflings and other underlings. LOL!

Glad you liked the red painted shed and the chapter's ending. Thanks for commenting, Kitty. I appreciate it.

I see that boys will be boys, even when they're immortal ellyn!

Author Reply: Absolutely, Bookworm. LOL! Thanks for reading and reviewing.

So the triumverate is now complete and Sador has arrived. Loved the "fish tale" and the gentle way in which the Valar are pushing things into place. And poor Glorfindel, blamed so often that he immediately goes on the offensive when accused of having been the perpetrator of any action. That's my beloved balrog-slayer - :-)

- Erulisse (one L)

Author Reply: Hi Erulisse. Yes, the triumerate is complete. And Glorfindel is being his usual 'young' self, there's no doubt. *grin* I'm glad you loved the 'fish tale' and how the Valar are involving themselves. We'll see in a short bit just why the Valar wanted Sador to come to Tirion early. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

Ah! A delightful visit from Ulmo. Glad he took the Vala's advice. And at least no further disasters happened in this chapter! Heh!

Author Reply: No disasters in this chapter, Larner, but we're only halfway through the story. *grin* Sador is wise enough not to ignore advice (or orders) from a Vala however they may come. Thanks for reading and reveiwing. I appreciate it.

Atto! *looks at Atto in mock-reproach*

Are you *trying* to kill me from laughing? =P

Although...I suppose "Sador Arrives" ought to have been enough of a warning.

*still giggling*

A talking fish! Well, if Yavanna can be a tree...

So...are we talking...koi or something? Oh, I love it. =D

That was my favorite part of the chapter, though I did love all of it.

*huggles* I'm so glad to see Sador again! And that dream was awesome. *beams*

Waiting for next Wednesday is HARD! Well, at least there's Friday and Monday...

*waiting impatiently for IDB*

Tye-melin tenn' Ambar-metta,

Kaylee!

P.S. Email me when you've got a chance to look at what I sent you properly, please =)

Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. I think it was just a very large golden carp, myself. Anyway, I'm glad you found the chapter amusing. And as soon as I can find time to read what you sent me I'll email you, probably sometime this weekend. Promise.

Thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate it.

Oh, this was a fun chapter! It had me laughing!

Ulmo seems to be having a fun time with this wedding, I wonder if any of the other Valar plan on popping in any time soon to join in on the fun.

I don't see why Earwen can't go hang in a tree along with the ellyn, though she would porbably have to stop off to put on some leggings, it would not do for the Queen of the Noldor be seen hanging from a tree branch with her skirts over her face!

Huggs,
Lynda

Author Reply: Hi Lynda. We'll have to see if any of the Valar 'pop in'. With that lot, you never know. *grin*

Glad you found the chapter fun. I had fun writing it. Thanks for reading and reviewing. It's much appreciated.

Ok once again the end of this chapter makes me so glad I do not share an office. I can now go off to my afternoon meeting with a huge smile on my face.

Sador hasn't changed much I see - and I love the story about his grandparents and great-grandfather painting the shed red. As to Lord Ulmo's intervention I wander what it pertains. Netilmírë 's reaction was great :)

I am going to be so glad to have this story to brighten up midweek in what promises to be a busy university term.

Author Reply: Hi Arwen. Well you're in luck for as it looks now this story won't be finished much before the end of the year so Wednesdays for the foreseeable future should be bright enough. *grin* Glad you like this chapter. Thanks for letting me know. I apprecicate it.
