| Ah, that was so sweet at the end, Lai. I wonder whose idea it was to have Legolas bring Thranduil his crown? A stroke of genius, that. Thranduil is one lucky king. But he still has a lot of work ahead of him. They all do and it will not be easy. Looking forward to seeing how things go from here. Author Reply: thank you so much, Fiondil. | Thranduil gazed deeply into his son’s eyes and calmed his son’s agitated thoughts to a level so that soon the elfling was snuggling close against him content to be held in his arms. A beautiful scene in the midst of a heart-breaking reunion. (Though I do wish I had this particular gift to use on an unsuspecting granddaughter of mine. *g*) I love the term 'raging disarray' - I must remember it for the times the same condition occurs in my life. Which is often! And what a beautiful ending to the chapter. I was near to tears myself. Bravo! Well done! Author Reply: Thank you so much, Agape. Yes, this was a lovely scene and fitting for an elf like Thranduil. And believe me I wish for this gift also with my two girls, but it never works...LOL!
