| I know Thranduil seemed to love his dungeons. (see The Hobbit).... I would have preferred if he sent Thoran there for a thousand yeni or so! I don't trust that Elf. | A very difficult and emotional trial for everyone. I doubt if everyone is pleased by the outcome (or lack of one). I fear for Thranduil. I don't think this is completely over. Thoran is too evil to be allowed loose, IMO. Author Reply: Unfortunately Thranduil has not much other options and you are surely right that not all is over and your fear for Thranduil is warranted.
