Revolution  by Laikwalâssê 2 Review(s)

This was a very sad chapter to read. The depths of Thoran's insanity were intense. That he would throw the Elfling to the ground, knowing he would be hurt, and perhaps even killed, is unbelievable. And unforgivable. I'm sure he thought the horse would go faster without the added burden, that he could fight better without an Elfling to consider... but nothing justifies this.

It had to be one of Thranduil's hardest decisions, to leave his youngest in the hand's of his brother. I kind of wish he'd stayed with Legolas and left Thoran to his guards. I'm sure he continued because he wasn't sure where his guards were. So much for taking off and leaving them behind. Glad Galadhion was with him.

My heart broke at Bregolas' death. He entered the Halls of Mandos as a true warrior and faithful guard. *sobs*

I could feel Saeron's relief at the sight of Elrond's sons. Glorfindel's presence helped, too. But to see Celeborn go off after Thranduil. That was important. If anything happened to the Elven king... I do not think power was only in Galadriel's hands. Her husband was an awesome character.

Great chapter. Can't wait for more!

Author Reply: Thoran is beyond any reasoning now and can await no understanding anymore. Of course Thranduil has struggled with his decision to stay with his youngest or go after the mad elf but he wanted to make sure that no one has to suffer again from Thoran´s madness, which was not true for poor Bregolas. Galadriel is powerful but Celeborn is also a power to reckon with. Of course he is gong after his cousin. Thranduil is a formidable warrior but with this mad elf you will never know and Celeborn is taking no chances. Thank you so much for the lovely review and your enouraging words, Agape. The next chapter is already written and with my beta. Again thank you. Lai

Well, at least Legolas is safe if injured. That's a relief. But really, Thranduil needs to stop dithering and just get rid of that mad elf. Thoran is long overdue for a little chat with Lord Námo. *grin*

Author Reply: yes, Legolas is safe and now the way is cleared for Thranduil and be assured he will make sure that Thoran will have a chat with Námo. LOL! Thank yo so much for reviewing, Fiondil. Lai
