Beautiful images here for both the dreamers and the Lords of the Paths. And I rejoice that at the end Pharazon chose to fight for the Light instead of to possess it.

Author Reply: Thank you very much! I always hoped for redemption for Ar-Pharazôn, so I wrote it at the end =)

I love how you wove these stories together! Irmo's grief at his part in the fall of Numenor gave me an interesting insight into his character - all those prophetic dreams that pop up throughout the history of Arda are, of course, 'his fault'...and he's thus more like his brother Namo than I've given him credit for in the past. Tying Lost Tales to Lord of the Rings, having Boromir meet Ar-Pharazon...it's just such a novel and brilliant idea, and I love your execution of it! Thanks so much for this story. It's almost what would have happened if Tolkien had set 'The Lost Road' fully in Middle Earth ;).

Author Reply: Thank you very much for the review! It didn't occur to me before, either, but thinking about Faramir's dreams when I was planning this story made me thing about Irmo, and his role in it, and about the path and Little House of Play he built for dreaming chldren. It was an interesting connection, and suddenly it all fitted together, also Boromir and Ar-Pharazôn.

I really liked this when I first read it at Teitho. I loved the way in which Námo and Irmo are portrayed and the way you interwove the dreams of Ar-Pharazôn and Faramir and their outcomes. A lovely, evocative and thought-provoking tale. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Author Reply: Thank you very much for the review, Fiondil! I'm especially glad you like Námo and Irmo here, because you write them wonderfully in your stories =)
