| Beautiful beginning, all on its own. How well you describe Frodo's anguish, and how plausible a scene this is, to explain how Arwen came to offer him her place on the ship. This chapter could stand very well on its own, without being a "set up" for following chapters. (BTW, I love the Miracle Max part of that movie. We often quote the last part, "Buh-bye, boys! | I have been very remiss in telling you how much I love your awesome tale of Boromir alive. You sent word to me of this prologue some time ago to let me know you had taken it up again to add to the wonderful one-shot you originally wrote. I saved it in a document, and then somehow it got lost on my computer and I have just found it again today -- and when I came here to thank you for adding to your story, what do I find? Nineteen more chapters, one of which was just recently updated! I'm so happy!!! I can't wait to start again at the beginning to see where you are taking this! | Lovely gapfiller, showing how Arwen came to offer her place in the boat to Frodo. His pain is so raw, and Aragorn's grief so clear. How hard it must be for a healer, to come up against ills that he cannot heal. Looking forward to reading more. Author Reply: Hard indeed especially for someone he loves as much as he loves Frodo.
