Till We Have Faces  by Antane 2 Review(s)

The more he realizes he has withstood and can withstand now, the better he will be eventually.

Author Reply: Yes, that's the plan. :) I think if he can continue to not only experience it himself as intense flashbacks because of his PTSD but also from outside himself and understand things he couldn't have before while under assault, it will show him his true face and nature and he will learn that he's not a failure after all. We shall see.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

If the darkness came too deeply, it also made it easier to see the light of the stars that accompanied and sheltered him.

What an important event to have re-lived, and survived once again. That was an interesting insight about Glorfindel's light, and how, as the last thing Frodo saw before he fell unconscious on the bank, it may hav helped to sustain him.

Author Reply: Le hannon, my dear! At least it helped him this time to crawl out from under the memories, which is a great thing. :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
