More Things in Heaven and Earth  by Branwyn 5 Review(s)

Put that way, yes, it seems nearly normal! Heh! Why is his hair wet?

Author Reply: Walking dead Boromir would be scary but far less scary than one of the Nazgul. His hair is wet because he has been recalled from a watery grave, either the river Anduin or the sea (Tolkien doesn't say for certain where his body came to rest, though "it was said" that his boat followed the river until it reached the sea).

This is terrific! I love how you mixed humor and horror in this. "...as fanciful as a pile of rocks" actually made me giggle out loud (because yes, I dig that kind of subtle humor, what can I say). Eldahil is the kind of wry, sarcastic sort of character I love. The setting details made me feel I was right there on the ramparts with them, and the men's weeping reaction to Boromir's appearance was touching. I greatly enjoyed this!

Author Reply: I am glad you are enjoying the story, and thank you so much for the kind review!
Eldahil, who is a very distant relation of Boromir and Faramir, appeared in an earlier story I wrote. I needed an OC, so I brought him back. He is a fun character to write. :)

Great start. Shades of Hamlet. I was rolling on the floor at the last paragraph. Can't wait 'til Faramir hears of this. Well written.

Author Reply: Written with abject apologies to Shakespeare. *grin* Brotherly reunion coming up soon. Thanks so much for the kind review!

What an interesting concept! The return of Boromir will certainly have profound effects upon the story as we know it.

Author Reply: I am glad you like the idea. Boromir may or may not be back on a permanent basis. Even he doesn't understand how or why he has returned.
Thanks so much for reviewing!

can't wait for the next chapter.Wonder what the danger is though? LOL Galathil

Author Reply: You (and Boromir and Faramir) will find out eventually. :)
