More Things in Heaven and Earth  by Branwyn 6 Review(s)

So, he is truly a ghost, eh? Makes things somewhat complicated, but I do believe they will manage to make things right and help him speak with his brother.

Author Reply: Yes, he is a ghost, though revenant might be a better term since he has a corporeal form. Like the Army of the Dead, he lingers because he believes he has an obligation to fulfil; unlike the Army of the Dead, he has a corporeal form (in the books, they seemed like shadows).
Thanks for reviewing. :)

A truly magnificent and chilling (pun intended) chapter. Wonderful writing of a ho9rrific scene!

Author Reply: Thanks so much for commenting! He must be quite a scary sight. Will require some cleanup before he goes anywhere, lol.

This is truly exciting! Tea-sipping ghost is touching and not as scary, and Eldahil shows remarkable loyalty and presence of mind.

Author Reply: No, he is more sad and confused than scary. Though I am sure he felt better after a cup of tea. :)
Thanks for your kind review!

I hope they figure out how to get those arrows out of him and give him some decent clothes before sneaking him past Faramir's guards. LOL! This looks to be an exciting story. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Author Reply: Yes, he isn't going to get far looking like that! I am glad you are enjoying this, and thanks so much for commenting.

Curiouser and curiouser! I wonder what Faramir will think when he sees his brother? Looking forward to that!

Author Reply: We haven't quite gotten to the reunion, but I promise it will be soon. Thanks for reviewing!

Intriguing first chapters. Makes me curious to continue reading (always a good thing). I did wonder, though, since you have not mentioned him at all, why Boromir needed to speak with Faramir, the Steward, and not also with the king. Since it was a threat to Minas Tirith, and not to his brother specifically. Or maybe that is something that will become clear later?

Author Reply: As Boromir says, he has had no news save that Sauron has been overthrown and Denethor has died. He knows that the West has been victorious, but he doesn't know that the king has returned. Aragorn happens to be away from Minas Tirith at the moment, which is one reason that Eldahil doesn't suggest going to see him.
