Back to Middle Earth BINGO  by Dreamflower 5 Review(s)

Glad to read this again. Poor Buttercup--such an adventure for a creature built to stay close to the earth!

This sounds like a story that hobbits would tell their children--an old piece of hobbit folklore, perhaps.

Oh, but this is so cute! If there ever was a Hobbitess with true Hobbit sense, it was little Buttercup!

Author Reply: LOL! Yep; she's clearly not a Tookish adventuress. She only tries it out because she thought she must, but it's not something she'd ever try again.

Great little story, and very hobbity! I can just see little Sam Gamgee and his siblings hearing this story told at the table...

Author Reply: Thanks! Yeah, I think this one is a Shire standard, kind of like my "Tip and Tulip" stories...especially with the little moral of it-- which is that Big Folk are all well and good, but family and home are better...
