Poor Bilbo, getting so sick, but glad his ma and pa are feeling better and that he is improving himself.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Yes, Bilbo is getting better!

A little foreshadowing there--nicely done! Apparently some athelas in the medicine! And poor Adalgrim has reason to be concerned!

Author Reply: Yes, I think probably athelas!

The worst is yet to come, so far as the wolves are concerned.

What a wonderful description of the taste of 'Elvish medicine'. :)

Author Reply: Thank you. I've no idea of what the medicine is, but since it came from Lothlorien, I am sure it would smell and taste wonderful.

How wonderful that Belladonna and Bungo can take their parental roles again. (But they will die young for hobbits.)

What a pity we don't know what was in that Elvish medicine; much more effective and better tasting than how I was treated with the flu at 7 and 17!

yet somehow, he knew it was the Sea... And for once it's not Frodo who has knowledge of the Sea (if not in your fics, then in others').

Good to know Chop is back safe. But I'm sure the chase was harrowing, with the hobbits divided in three and twenty wolves.
