Oh, Lothiriel, who are you kidding? You are lost. Loved Eomer's entrance. Hopefully, Elphir and especially Dorgan will leave Lothiriel alone from now on.

Author Reply: That's the scene I mentioned enjoying writing. Eomer's got the right edge to deal with characters like these.

Well, Elphir and his companion were nicely put down, weren't they? Heh! And she's about to go riding with the one who has managed to stir her heart in spite of herself. Waiting for the unraveling of the attempts to deceive, of course.

Author Reply: Hi Larner,
no, no, they're only going for a little excursion to the beach, completely harmless! What could possibly happen? ;-)

Ah ha.... that is one lovesick woman! And she is sooo betwixt and between. Not sure if she should be happy he hasn't tried to accost her. :)

This was a very funny chapter as our heroine continues to bury herself deeper and deeper in a world of lies. My goodness gracious.

But isn't Eomer interesting, too? *g*

Author Reply: Hello Agape,
lovesick? You must be mistaken, it's all under control. She'll probably draw a diagram next to prove to herself that she can't possibly like him ;-D

Thanks for reviewing!

These were two delightful chapters as the plot thickens. However will Lothiriel ever manage to tell Eomer the truth?

Author Reply: Hi Linda,
Lothiriel is of course still hoping to get away with it, but yes, it won't be easy!

Thanks for reading

Poor thing... she doesn't realize her heart's long gone - nothing left to guard! Her attempt to think logically and rationally had me in stitches (empathetically) due to my own experiences in very logically attempting to explain away certain relational realities with a very disconcerting, persuasive man. :-0

Lord Ealdred and Lady Ivriniel - squeee!

Ooo - and Scary Eomer makes an appearance - love how he turned Dorgan and Elphir into jelly; very useful skill, that!

Author Reply: Hello Lyana,
love and logic don't go together too well, but you have to admit Lothiriel is trying her best ;-) And then as you so aptly named him, Scary Eomer pops in. Poor Lothiriel!

As for Ivriniel, I liked her so much that I wanted to give her a happy ending as well. Rohan will never be the same again...

PS sounds as if you've found your own personal Eomer!
