Imrahil's Daughters  by Lialathuveril 7 Review(s)

The bit with the snake was quite interesting. (I hate them.) I am curious about something. Why do people refer to reptiles and foul as animals when they are not?

Author Reply: Hi Tari,
I don't mind snakes myself actually (in our local zoo you're allowed to handle corn snakes and they're really quite interesting).

I don't quite understand your question though. Reptiles are animals, aren't they? Or did I misunderstand you?

Happy Reading!

I knew it. Something was bound to happen. It was too peaceful. Now they are truly caught. Are the riders aware who Gliwen really is? I got the feeling they are watching the show.

Author Reply: The riders think that Gliwen is Lothiriel in disguise, which is correct of course. It's funny really that they are quite right, unlike their better informed king.

Whoo hoo! What a fun chapter. All slithering about - Eomer and the snake.

Author Reply: Hello Agape,
one of those chapters the reader enjoys more than the characters - although that's actually true of most of my writing ;-)

Except the healers of Dol Amroth know that there is but one daughter to Prince Imrahil. This could get very interesting.

Author Reply: Hi Larner,
yes, it should get interesting in the next chapter. There are a few hard truths to face.

A most dramatic and enjoyable chapter.

Author Reply: Hi Linda,
thanks, I wanted to stir things up a little ;-)

What a great deal of excitement there with the snake and with Eomer! Courting 20 men with mead? LOL! Eomer is the equal of 20 men.

Author Reply: Hi Ellie,
hmm, so according to your calculation she's invited 40 men to court her! ;-D

Ai! This just gets better and better - first the chain, and now the mead; she doesn't have a chance! I can't wait to see how she handles the healers... But poor Eomer - he's in for a right shock when he finds out that the icicle and the firebrand are one and the same - at least she now knows she's (however inadvertantly) invited his suit. Poor both of them - and Imrahil and Amrothos and Ivriniel! At least his riders just get to be amused by it all, and they'll have such a tale to tell when they get home. :-)

Author Reply: Hello Lyana,
your words about the icicle and firebrand being the same made me laugh because I had this vision of Eomer ending up with a wet puddle - the combination of the two ;-)

But you're right that he's in for a bit of shock. Won't be long now!
