Yay, finally getting to read this! What a terrific first chapter. I do love imagining Annuminas and how Aragorn and Arwen lived while there... it had to have been such an idyllic time.

""Estel," Frodo whispered, "I'm so happy to see you,"

"As am I, little one," the King whispered back, returning his friend's hug. After a time he pulled back to look at Frodo, surprised and delighted by what he saw.

"You look well, my dear friend," he said, the relief evident in his face. "Remarkably well, in fact."

"As do you, Your Majesty," Frodo grinned. "I have much to tell you." He stepped back and bowed.

Elessar sighed. "None of that," he said, but Frodo just grinned. "

Perfection!

Author Reply: Awwww, thank you. I love how sweet and comfortable Frodo and Aragorn's friendship is in this series.

very nice scene-- its' great to have a moment of having all be honored by the King and declared that their property of the Shire will be under the protection from the King of the Gondor. :)

Author Reply: Thank you, Peri An. Joyous, gentle reunions like this make my heart happy.

I really love this! It is good to see Frodo well and healthy after the Quest and I adored the greeting. Off to read more! I hope this is a long story.

Author Reply: Thank you, my friend. Once I figured out a means by why Frodo would not have needed to sail West -- to be revealed soon -- I knew this would be a joyful and happy story.

Another Quarantined story. How lovely! It's strange to think that I've been following this verse for 10 years now.

Author Reply: It's strange to think that I've been *writing* this verse for 10 years now! Thank you so much for taking another Quarantined journey with me. (I think I'll have chapter 2 ready to post tomorrow.)

What a wonderful beginning. A joyful meeting between Aragorn and the hobbits in Annúminas - how could I not fall in love with it from the start? Can't wait for chapter two.

Author Reply: Oh, thank you. I'm so happy to be writing a new story, and hope to start writing chapter 2 this evening. *bounces*

Great beginning. And it is a Quarantine story. I love that universe. That meeting was so wonderful. Aragorn will always be Strider. Frodo all healed is also welcome, I always wished there was a Reset button for him. Can't wait to see where this is going.

Author Reply: Thank you. Many of my stories do feel to me like a 'reset' button for Frodo, whom I need to imagine healed, loved, and at peace. I'm so pleased you're coming on a new Quarantined journey with me.

I like it that Pippin was the one who helped with the children in the absence of Rose. I think that's sweet. And his reunion with Aragorn brought tears to my face. Love this!

Author Reply: I'm so glad you like this story. Pippin has grown up in many ways, while still (of course) remaining our sweet Pippin.

*delighted sigh*

This looks like it's going to be fun - what with Peregrin by his lord's side. *g*

And Frodo healthy and happy and on an adventure with those he loves. To meet one he loves.

This is great.

Author Reply: Thank you so much. All those things make me happy, too.

Great beginning!

He drew his small sword and laid it at his liege lord’s feet before hugging him fiercely.

Apparently, Pippin tried hard to behave like a knight of Gondor, but in the end he just had to hug good old Strider :-)

Author Reply: Hi, Andrea! I'm glad to know you liked this part. 'Strider' will always hold a special place in Pippin' heart... and vice versa.
