Why do you guys expect evynrthieg for free? Skype already offers a great service for free, so if they bring in a new feature like this they might as well try to make some money off it.

Author Reply: That's a very good point. I'm not sure what it has to do with the chapter, but thank you for your efforts in the tireless war against Entitlement Syndrome!

This is masterful storytelling! The descriptions you give of Aragorn's aches and pains and discomforts is amazing... I am eating it up. I have put off reading this story because I wasn't sure if Aragorn would get any succor, and I do love the comfort so much... but I see that he does, and I'm looking VERY forward to it!

Author Reply: Oh, thank you! I'm so pleased you decided to read! He does get succour, hard though he must labour to reach it, and I'm as dedicated to the details of the comfort as I am to the details of the misery, I promise. Poor Aragorn: the glimpses of this road in canon pain such a harsh and wretched picture.

Oh damnation ....npw Estels in deep and when I think about how much harder it is to get out of frozen water .. I would bring rubberboat to you anytime Este-l anytime and haul you ashore and dont you let go !Excellent writing as always and I cant wait what Will happen next!

Author Reply: I'm sure he would love both a rubber boat and a helpful bystander to haul him out! So glad I've got you hooked. Yes, he's definitely in deep.

Why did I just know you (and Gollum) were going to dunk poor Aragorn in the icy river? Poor guy! Good reading, though. Thanks.

Author Reply: Hey, it was 90% Gollum! And, of course, the fact that crossing river ice in late winter is a tremendous risk even at the best of times. Poor Aragorn indeed, though. I'm glad it made for a good read.

Oh my goodness, how awful and suspenseful. If Aragorn could survive this terrible journey, he could survive anything.

Author Reply: Thank you! Given how well he functions on the scant snatches of sleep between Amon Hen and the Pelennor, I think you're right...
