I really enjoyed the way you shaped this chapter from a totally different point of view - an old man reflecting on the gruel habits of his own people. No wonder you managed a reward!

Beside - I like this different setting, giving some insight to the world beyond Anduin ( Tolkien never discovered that in detail).

Lovely as always! I look forward to any more chapters to come!
P.S. I don't know what it takes to post a chapter, so I won't beg for more by tomorrow, but I do look forward to more as soon as possible! :)

Author Reply: Thank you so much! I'll post the second part stat. Cheers!

We know that the one he has helped is the one who led those who slew the old man's sons; but there is hope here of a kind the old basket weaver barely remembers. A worthy thing the old man has done, and he shall know a reward he perhaps may never appreciate in this life....

Author Reply: Yes; and it is those unknown rewards that are often the greatest. Thank you as always for sharing your insight!

Is this a rewrite of am earlier story. It seems familiar. As noted before you are very good with vivid imagery whether Arsgorn is hot or cold. Thank you.

Author Reply: I wrote it for Teitho years ago, but only just now got around to posting it here. I'm very pleased to know the imagery comes across well. Thank you so much!
