Oh, how sad!

I do hope the child will be well. Poor Eiriniel.

Author Reply: I hope with you but with Eriniel´s fragile mental state? Thank you so much for reviewing, Lindelea. Lai

Eireniel's grief for her husband is compounded by the need and love of her baby who is prepared for death with her. Will her accident cause a premature birth? Will Elrond be able to win the battle to heal Eireniel's spirit and save her baby? Great start to an interesting story Lai, and looking forward to your next up-date.

Author Reply: Elrond will have his hands full to save mother and child, that I can promise! I´m so glad you like the start to my new story. Thank you so much for reviewing, Semmley. Lai

A sad beginning. Good to see Elrond and Glorfindel again, though. I'm sure they'll work things through and hopefully Eiriniel will find some solace in the coming child. Looking forward to more, Lai.

Author Reply: Elrond will find out that fighthing on a battlefiel can be much easier. The foe is clearly visible; a headstrong grieving mother is no easy charge. Thank you so much for a most appreciated review, Fiondil. Lai

How sad. Elrond and Glorfindel both have such tough jobs...

Author Reply: our favourite elves are not to envy. I´m glad you like the beginning even if it starts sad. Thank you Ellie. Lai

Strong beginning to what can be an unusual look at Elrond's household. I am looking forward to more. Thank you.

Author Reply: the hardest battles are not always fought on the battlefield. Elond will find out this now. Thank you so much for reviewing, UTfrog. Lai

A new tale from you! The greatest battles of our own world and time are not always fought on battlefields, with guns or knives or bombs. The darkness that can fill hearts causes the most difficult fights. Now we will see if the peace of Imladris, and the strength and caring of the people who live there, will be enough to persuade this grieving mother to continue to live, for the sake of her child. I wonder if elves who die BEFORE even being born would grow up in the Halls of Mandos? Your battle now, I suppose, will be to see that we do not need to find out!

Author Reply: I have never considered if elves who die before being born will be called to Mandos, but it would make sense, because it´s a calling to the fea and the unborn child has an active fea already but hopefully this will be not necessary for the Vala. Hope to see you at the next chapters, demeter and I´m so glad for your review, thank you. Lai
