“My blessed lad, when it comes to beauty, you have the perfect eye!”

Great! I would have liked to see (and eat) that beautiful cake :-)

Ah, Sam is a gardener of actual flowers, while Frodo's garden bears similar-yet-different edible blooms... I can see where Sam would especially appreciate Frodo's achievement.

It's wonderful to imagine Frodo concentrating hard on decorating this cake. :)

My pupils tend to eat up the icing that is left over after we finish decorating the Christmas cookies. It gives me a tootache to watch... and we certainly can't manage to make such beautiful decoration. ;)

Author Reply: I've had that happen, too. I remember a classroom filled with Kindergarten students with the icing all over the table and the floor, with some even on the door handle with no one admitting it was them; and trying to get an adult student who was blind to learn to follow the circle of the cake's top. We both got icing on us! And I wish I had Frodo's touch with the icing bag myself. I'm nowhere as good as I imagine him to have been.

Thanks so!

O Larner, that cake sounds too beautiful to eat! :) Frodo is indeed an artist!

Author Reply: I'm sure he was very artistic, Kaylee. I agree about the cake being too beautiful to eat!

I am running right over and I am not letting Freddy have any of it (though I will let Sam have a little and my favorite Bagginses). :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: You'd deny Fatty Bolger? Ah, poor Fredegar! Heh!

Thanks so, Antane.
