Fit for a Queen  by Linda Hoyland 4 Review(s)

Oh, poor Eldarion! I am glad that Arwen reassured him! He was trying to do the right thing after all! Aragorn shouldn't jump to conclusions so fast, but doubtless he was more focused on Arwen than on their son at the moment, lol! I also feel sorry for the poor gardener.

Yes, Eldarion will find that younger siblings are both a joy and a pain, depending on the day - or perhaps just the next five minutes, LOL! How well I know. Now, when MY mother was pregnant with my younger sister, I don't remember the actual pregnancy. (I was three and a half, so this was 26 years ago! Heh!) But when my sister was BORN, I reportedly (not that I recall this either, but baby books aren't meant to lie) greeted the new arrival with a tearful retort to "Send her back" where she came from! When my sister found that out from reading her book, she told me she hated me. Goodness. At least Eldarion is older than I was, it seems (or at least far more fair-spoken), and properly prepared for a new sibling.

Poor Eldarion never wanted to upset anyone. I was wondering if he was going to become a big brother soon, and I am glad that I was right! Heh!

Author Reply: Thank you. You did indeed guess right!

This reminds me of an old family anecdote, where someone asked my sister if she wanted a little brother or a little sister. Her answer was, "I'd rather have a puppy than another brother!"

Elessar's advice to his son was very wise.
