How sad and disturbing! I want to know more about this elleth and what Glorfindel may know of her that he is not saying.

Thank you for writing and sharing this story!

Author Reply: thank YOU for reviewing, Ellie. Glorfindel will talk eventually, yet the story of the elleth will remain disturbing, I fear. Lai

An intriguing mystery. I can understand Glorfindel, but from the clues about her injuries, I agree with Elrond. She will never be whole again. But miracles happen. I just hope they can break the spell and it is not some kind of trap for the unwary. I don't trust Saruman.

Author Reply: and you are right to be wary of Saruman. We want to side with both elves but with an Istari involved......thanks for reviewing, obsidianj. Lai

We cannot argue with Elrond's instincts, but I, too, wish to know the history of this woman and to see her freed from the misery in which she now exists. And why did Saruman wall her up as he did?

Author Reply: to heed Elrond´s instincs would not be bad advice. Glorfindel is maybe blind, only seeing her misery. Thanks for a most appreciated Review. Lai
