This is a lovely little story - how lucky that Minnah had such lovely ladies to befriend and help her, and how lucky that she was able to adapt and learn so quickly. Excellent descriptions and characterisations; it would be nice to read another chapter, to see how she settles in to her new (and very different) life.

Nice job on this, it rounds out well and seems to avoid the kinds of "shock therapy" that a lot of ff stories include where the main character goes from no skill to awesome skill in two minutes flat. Great job. Thanks for your hard work on this.

Linda, as always, well written. Must say that you weave the various cultures and their separate traditions in to a beautifully illustration of what the finest nationality of transplanted people should become. As you expand your universe we see the Gondor that was so oppressed during the long battle against evil become the shining example of prosperity that only happens when all classes of the society are secure that their contributions to life are respected

You described that gown so well, I could imagine it perfectly. What a joyous event, and wonderful beginning to this marriage. Eowyn and Arwen make a great team. Thank you for another lovely tale

Oh Linda!

I am so glad Minnah learned how to ride so swiftly - but then, she had the best teacher :) Eowyn was wonderful with the horses and with the Princess. It seems that the people of Dol Amroth were very welcoming, too, and even if it's only for Elphir's sake in the main, I trust Minnah will soon win the hearts of her adopted people.

I do wonder, though, what Alphros' reaction to his new stepmother will be, and Minnah's to him. Will you write more about Elphir, Minnah and Alphros getting to be a new family together? :) And I wonder if Adiva will invite the Princess to share the hamam with her, when she visits...or if Tahir would invite Elphir and even Alphros?

Thank you for the wonderful story, I definitely want more!

Kaylee

Indeed reason to be glad for the competence and caring of these two women! Minnah is most blessed to have come into their company, and I believe she will be very happy in her new life!
