| Good start but Lothy's mother was alive and well at the time of her betrothal (Thunder and Lightening) so why is she dead here? Did her father re-marry? Author Reply: THis story has nothing to do with Thunder and Lightening. I write lots about Lothiriel and she and her circumstances change in every story. | I've not really thought that Eomer would have visited Gondor before the war, but it makes sense. Nice glimpse at Lothiriel and Faramir. Eomer feels real, perhaps unusually mature for a fifteen-year-old boy, but still realistic. An apricot-loving little princess is not probably what he expected to find in Minas Tirith! Author Reply: Certainly some of the Rohirrim some visited Gondor, so why not Eomer - it gives another scenario to write about. I think EOmer would have had to grow up fast. LBJ | |
