A Bit of Cheering  by PSW 2 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: 2 on 11/29/2016
Oh, but the perfect distraction for the times when the heaviness is too much to bear. He now has Rosie to think of, and such a wonderful means to keep himself centered in NOW and in the knowledge of her love.

Author Reply: Yes, I'm convinced that Sam must have depended on her for that after their return, and I'm sure she was more than able to rise to the challenge. I quite enjoy writing Rosie. :-)

This is a wonderful companion piece to your other story. I like it when tales link together like this.

If you ever feel whatever this is coming on again, you hold onto it and remember that buttercups mean Rosie, and they mean good cheer, and neither of those is to be found in Mordor, so you can’t be there either.

I do love your Rosie! She's good and wise and just the right lass for our Sam.

Author Reply: Thank you! :-) I so enjoyed writing this -- I love to imagine what kind of lass Sam would fall in love with, and how she helped him through his own after-effects. I'm sure it must have been that way...Sam is not the type to be 'bothering' the others -- he would rather be strong for them and share his own troubles with his wife, I believe....
