| Dawn has given her hope. I love how she is willing to sacrifice the sleeves of her chemise for Aragorn's sake, and she imagines that it might upset the Elves should they have to clean the bedding. She is quite innocent in her way. Love the details of her wardrobe, in which extra sleeves and the like are used to make it appear she has more clothing than she actually owns. But we know that Aragorn will know both safety and love here, before he must in the end return to his own people. |
