An Alphabet Book for the King's Children  by Larner 7 Review(s)

Love the horns of the Rohirrim. And Cirdan.

PS. Spell check just loves these names. NOT.

Author Reply: Spell Check and I have a love-hate relationship. Bought a new Windows Ten computer, and shudder at having once again to teach Word to accept diacritical marks!

O Larner, my bunny has flourished! Merry Christmas! :) http://archiveofourown.org/works/8923777/chapters/20441161 (Am hoping the link will work; if it doesn't, it's "Matters of Kingship" by Kaylee Arafinwiel on AO3)

Ah, C is for Cirion! Yes, indeed so! And Celeborn too, of course! And most importantly, Calenardhon!

Hmm, now I have my *own* bunny stirring about Elessar and Eomer's children...but I had better let that be, for now, so I can finish catching up! (Another C!)

Author Reply: Oh, but yes! Heh!

Author Reply: (And I can't wait for your bunny to flourish!)

Very nice! I did not know that the Eorlingas had help from the Lady Galadriel!

And Melian has already adapted the writing style of the book ;-)

“How cunningly it is colored!”

Author Reply: Yes, or so it tells in Unfinished Tales, although the Eorlingas would have been alarmed had they known, I suspect. Already they had frightening stories told about the Elves, and particularly about Galadriel.

This is so great!

Author Reply: Thank you so, Shirebound!

Not only is this *cute* and *clever* (see what I did there? :-P), but it's really impressive, managing to put together these little short stories around a particular letter. My brain doesn't really work that way...but I am enjoying the result!

Thanks for writing!

Author Reply: You and Harrowcat are both making my day! It takes a good deal of perseverence to bring in a profusion of letter-words for each day, but it's well worth it.

Clever Crafting. It is nice to see the children's, reactions. And I learnt that the Lady and Lord of the Golden Wood aided the process.

Author Reply: Thank you! Yes, according to Unfinished Tales Galadriel did her bit to help both Cirion's one surviving messenger and Eorl's Riders to each make their journeys successfully, and it was fun to work that into this story! Now, to finish this chapter in Stirring Rings!
